Brighter Hamtramck

The Brighter Hamtramck project was created in result of the General Motors "Factory Zero" development, revamping the original Detroit-Hamtramck factory which was closed down in 2019 and infamously known as the factory that destroyed a growing neighborhood. Factory Zero provided the mission statement of an all-electric factory bettering the world with zero emissions. the Irony of that promise was the result of Hamtramck after. Brighter Hamtramck was created as a public awareness campaign to hold GM accountable and urge the company to invest in its own city.
